In his more carefree days, Dr. Young played football in high school. Although given the nickname “Slo Mo”, he was awarded “most improved player” in his last year of varsity football.

He made state time in the 200 individual medley on his high school swim team and worked as a bartender and a waiter to pay for art school tuition. He had a short-lived career as a graphic designer before realizing his passion for medicine and helping patients. He skis, plays some golf, loves to post food photos on Instagram, enjoys working out, and is an avid cyclist. Check him out on Strava!

He spends leisure time with his wife, son, and their two parakeets.
